i like rabbit as a food course. that is to say...
i don't recall ever having it... but since my
family were hunters back in the day, it wouldn't
surprise me if i had eaten it when i was a kid.
i just don't remember having it.
incidentally, i DID see some fresh (frozen)
rabbit at the grocery store and i almost picked
up a package to attempt to prepare.
i'm always interested in new meals.... so i may
end up getting it eventually.

i've lived in the south my whole life... even in

The phrase, "The rabbit died," came to be a euphemism for a positive pregnancy test in the late 1920 and early 1930s.
